Features

Shoppable video without the weight

Upload, tag products, add a block in your theme editor.

Shopify-hosted
Your videos stay in your Shopify Files

Upload from the app straight to your store's Files, or pick videos already there. Shopify transcodes and streams them from its CDN, so the app never counts views and has no bandwidth to bill you for.

Shoppable
Add to cart without leaving the video

Tag up to six products per video. The full-screen viewer shows them with price and options; shoppers add to cart there, and your theme's cart count updates.

Light
Nothing heavy on page load

Cards are plain HTML with lazy posters. The player script loads only when a video block comes near the screen. Videos never preload, and one muted preview at most plays at a time.

Accessible
A viewer everyone can use

Keyboard controls, focus kept in the viewer and returned to the card, labelled buttons, captions from your .vtt or .srt files, pause controls for previews, and no motion for shoppers who ask for less.

Pro
Stories, product pages and a floating video

Round story bubbles, the videos tagged with each product on its product page, and a small floating video in a corner of the pages you choose.

Pro
See which videos sell

Views, watch time, product clicks and add-to-carts per video, plus sales from paid orders with products added from a video. Anonymous counts only.

How it works

Three steps

No theme code to edit.

Add your videos

Drop video files into the app or choose from your Shopify Files, then tag the products in each one and add captions if you like.

Make a gallery

Pick the videos and their order. Galleries are saved in your store, where your theme reads them directly.

Add the block

One click opens your theme editor with the video carousel ready to add. Choose carousel or grid, shape and colours, then save.

Pricing

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

Where are my videos stored?

In your store's own Shopify Files. The app uploads them there from your browser (or you pick ones already there), and Shopify streams them to shoppers. The app's servers never receive or serve your videos, and uninstalling the app leaves them in your Files.

Is there a limit on views?

No. The app never counts views against a plan and there are no usage fees. Shopify's own limits for your Shopify plan apply to video storage and the number of video uploads.

Will it slow my store down?

A video block adds plain HTML with lazy-loaded posters, a small stylesheet and a loader script of about 1.3 KB (gzipped). The player script (about 11 KB gzipped) loads only when a video block comes near the screen, or when a shopper taps a video first. Videos never preload.

Do videos autoplay?

Only as a muted preview, one at a time, while that card is on screen — and never for shoppers who prefer reduced motion or have data saving on. Shoppers can pause previews, and you can turn them off per block. Sound plays only after a shopper opens a video.

Which themes does it work with?

Any Online Store 2.0 theme: the blocks are theme app extension blocks you add in the theme editor. Add to cart and the cart count are tested with the real JavaScript of Horizon and Dawn.

Which files can I upload?

MP4, MOV or WebM up to 1 GB and 10 minutes each (Shopify's limits). Vertical 9:16 videos fill the cards best. You can add WebVTT or SubRip captions to any video.

Will it leave code in my theme?

No. The blocks are added and removed in your theme editor, nothing is written into your theme files, and uninstalling removes them.
